About these terms
These terms apply when you use this site or engage Hills Plumbing & Gas for plumbing or gas-fitting work. By using the site or accepting a quote, you agree to them.
Quotes & pricing
- Quotes are given in writing and fixed unless the scope of work changes.
- Changes you ask for mid-job (additional fixtures, extra labour) are quoted before they happen.
- After-hours emergency rates are advised on the phone before we leave.
Workmanship guarantee
We provide a written workmanship guarantee on plumbing and gas work we perform. Manufacturer warranties on parts and appliances apply separately. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by tampering, misuse, third-party work, or events outside our control.
Licensing & compliance
We are QBCC licensed for plumbing and gas and carry public liability insurance. Every gas job comes with a compliance certificate. Licence details are provided on request.
Payments
Invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. Late payment may incur interest as permitted under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 and other applicable law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, our liability for any claim arising out of work performed is limited to the cost of re-performing that work.
Use of this site
You may use the site to learn about our services and request a quote. You may not use it to send spam, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or republish content without permission.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
