Jieye, owner & licensed plumber at Hills Plumbing & Gas

Every article, suburb page, FAQ and Q&A on this site is written by the same person who does the work. No outsourced content, no ghost-written agency fluff — just notes from a 13+ years experience QBCC-licensed Gold Coast plumber.

Jieye, owner of Hills Plumbing & Gas, Gold Coast

Hi, I'm Jieye.

I started Hills Plumbing & Gas after 13+ years on the tools because I wanted to run things differently — same plumber on the phone, same plumber doing the work, no subbing out, no surprises on the invoice. I'm QBCC licensed for both plumbing and gas, and I've got the insurance and statutory cover to back every job up.

The work I love most is bathroom renovations and new builds — the kind of jobs where the rough-in has to be set out right so the fit-off lands clean, pressures are tested at 1,000 kPa, and the customer ends up with something they want to show their mates. But the bread-and-butter is also blocked drains, burst pipes at 2am, hot water systems that died in winter, and gas cooktop installs for new kitchens. I've seen most of it.

Everything you read on this site — the blog posts, the suburb pages, the question library — I wrote based on actual jobs I've done across the Gold Coast. If it's on the site, I stand behind it.
